Macie is 8 years old and is non verbal. She has autism. We recently were given an opportunity to get a service dog to help her. His name is Wrigley and they are amazing together. I am blogging to stop clogging up facebook with my posts. :0)

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas
Is it me, or are stores and people putting out Christmas decor earlier and earlier every year? I like to take it one Holiday at a time, but that's me. I'm ok with getting our tree right after Thanksgiving, but NOT before. So, the Sunday after Thanksgiving we (Phil, the girls, my mom and dad, my brother, sister in law, and my niece and nephew) headed to the tree farm out near Braidwood (I can't remember the name of the town) to hunt for, and cut down our Christmas tree. The pictures are all out of order, but you get the idea.
The final product.
The girls freezing their tooshies off.
Emma posing in front of the tree.
Phil cutting down the tree. It's a bit odd in shape, but I chose this one thinking it was the best fit for our little living room.

The tree looks good! The girls haven't "un-decorated" it yet?
Oh yes, Macie played "take the ornaments off one by one, and hand them to Daddy tonight". Emma is curious, but can't quite figure out how to get them off the tree without falling over.
